this is going to be my longest ever blog entry. for my longest ever holiday trip
lots of things happened good and bad but i learnt a lot throughout the trip, things money can't buy.

well i was suppose to go to portugal first with my sis and friends but we missed our flight! budget air.. the security queue damn long la.. and even **** lost his passport. instead we booked another flight to spain only. backpacking is very fun. you get to wake up anytime you want, do anything you like. free and easy but planning is also important. and spent the first night in spain outside the train station la! damn cold and terrible.. people(smellyfeet) in train so damn smelly somemore ugh. but anyway the food in spain is not bad ! dint buy anything though. and playing cards was DAMN FUNNY !!

i even made a new friend!! mubarak (his name i think) anyway he's french, studying in spain and visiting his uncle in london. he's english is not that good but can still comunicate! damn cute la he. saw me alone and asked me if i can help him take pics while i help him take pics too.. in the end from the start we went through the place together! and he treated me to hot choc! "i invite you " so nice! i think europeans are more open and friendly , i also got his msn contact. later on we went to the british musuem together to look for awhile.. the rosetta stone (below) is something damn impt ?? and we parted ways, he left london the next day.

i also played soccer !! at hyde park (above) damn nice . but very cold and muddy! we(singaporeans) played against hong kong-ers from imperial college.. ahahaha and i scored the winning goal ! (ya ego la) but anyway it was a good experience playing soccer when your hands are freezing though you have gloves on and with shorts! the workout was very good and damn fun overall !

i also caught alegria a cirque du soliel show with my sister.. i watched it with my dad and sister a long time ago in singapore pri 6? which was damn good. but this time it wasn't that fantastic. anyway it was still good overall ! the music is fantastic la, and the singers voice is so mysterious yet pleasant. the whole spectacle was very intriguing, special.

cumarran and bing liang.. two of my sis roommates that i travelled(spain) and lived with throughout my stay when i was in london. damn bloody fun friends to have! their just full of rubbish and straight a's students la! basket.. anyway their both super super nice and good good buddies! i will never forget the fun times we had :) oh and thanks xingmao for letting me use your 6k laptop when you were away! eugune for cooking, jiejie for your occasional hot chocolates!! elaine for your non-stop talking and "entertainment" (they are living in the same apartment but sleep at diff rooms.) sorry if i burdened you all

well even we went to the wrong airport when we were going back to london from spain! and had to pay $508 each for another ticket la! (i learn to not assume that **** is our stupid smoking leader) omg damn pissed.. and he dint even offer to pay us back when its almost entirely his fault.

anyway london is really quite an expensive place to live in. one burger king burger is like 3.19pounds? thats like 9++sing dollars.. but you will never get bored! they have musicals everyday at their own exclusive theatres, where tickets get soldout probably every weekend. i watched a musical MAMMA MIA, based on ABBA songs and it was VERY VERY GOOD, a MUST WATCH! the singing, actors, live band below the stage. everything was just damn good. they also have football matches every week. movies, pubs, clubs(but i dint go), many musuems. and SHOPPING PARADISE. if u got $$$$ you will probably be mad.. cause at almost every tube(mrt) stop in central london, there is a starbucks.. and some shops here and there.. practically there are shops every tube stop! madness. but i dint shop that much because it was too expensive.. unlike JIEJIE ah! spend $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on post x-mas sale. and still scold me about $$ !

i also learnt to travel alone quite a bit.. my sis had exams towards the end of my trip . so i planned my days and travelled alone .. watched arsenal match, musical, movie alone.. etc etc. sitting on the bus and just reflecting on my year, on many many things. sitting at starbucks alone and just relaxing. learning how to navigate around the area too.

i also learnt that even in a college like imperial, childish politics, bitching and gossip still exists. well bing liang you din't do anything wrong! though i think i am as angsty as you! try to ignore it. and your a really nice guy la! cumarran too! :P

i also learnt how to be less lazy! do laundry, clean my dishes. be more responsible and considerate. i'm living with other people who i may be disturbing!! pai seh la you know? though they all are so friendly.

there were other downs too.. my sis angry that i bought so much sweets and snacks and luggage exceeded.. and i could not bring back my mums present that my sis bought. ya but what to do! i learnt more about my sister and also got closer to her! though we do get on each others nerves now and then! hahaha but well i admit that i am lucky to have a very nice sister :) and ok you were also stressed during exam time booo :( cheer up ok! move on remember ?? that **** is a bloody idiot la. enjoy yourself in london ok. and about the money issue i hope you understand how i view it. and why you should not be angry at all.

coming back home was very nice. i really love my bed!! and toilet! sleeping and just slacking at home is just so damn shiok la. dancing and singing in the room, blasting music!! i appreciate it much more now. there are many things that i still need to learn. but i have never ever been so sure before.
